Delighted to announce that Thought Press Project has re-launched for 2025, with the theme of ‘Sound & Vision’! Inspired by the classic song by David Bowie.
The project runs with up to 100 UK printmakers kindly donating their artwork to raise funds for The Children's Book Project and Edible Rotherhithe.
Alongside @ediblerotherhithe, our second charity this year is @childrensbookproject. This is a great charity that seeks to tackle book poverty, and give every child the opportunity to own their own book.
Book ownership has been directly linked with improved mental health amongst children and a greater propensity to read for pleasure, whilst reading fluency itself has a significant impact on children’s successful progression through education.

"Sound and Vision" immediately made me think of a perticular scene from one of my favourite films. As the glass shook, you could see the ripples in the water with each sound effect thud.
The scene stuck with me for a long time, and as I got older the quote took on a different meaning.
Sometimes you ask if the glass is half empty or half full.
Other times you ask " where's the goat?"
