Wadden Sea

Full colour lino print on A5 paper by Judith @ramblinghen inspired by Wadden Sea (Wattenmeer), a vast landscape of rippled sand in the North Sea. Whole islands and villages are buried beneath this, sunken during violent storms in ancient times. The artist spent countless hours as a child, walking barefoot through this emptiness, the only markers the land behind her and the tiny islands ahead, floating on a mirrored sea, lost in her own little world. She can't wait to travel back there one day, it has been so long...
