We are 100 UK printmakers creating inspiring prints on an annual theme. In 2024, the theme was "Bring me Sunshine" inspired by the Morecambe & Wise song, with prints sold in aid of two charities - Place 2 Be and Edible Rotherhithe. Place 2 Be helps school children improve their mental health and wellbeing across the UK. Edible Rotherhithe provides creative learning opportunities through gardening and printmaking sessions in schools. For more information about these charities and what they do, please visit

I have always loved Japanese woodblock prints, and their often playful use of imagery. The idea of a dragon escaping from the pattern on china is something I have explored in different ways; this time it has been lurking in the teapot waiting to emerge with the steam. This is a reduction print, so the block is gradually carved away during the process meaning that only a very small edition is made.
