"Snug" by @vivien.house

When I was thinking about my subject for this year's theme, I wanted to express the feeling of safe, cosy space offers. That's when I decided to depict a little mouse in it's nest.
Cosy , safe from the elements- the fundamentals of a home, the basic need in nature and the more I thought about it the mouse sat well with me as the correct subject of my lino print.
The mouse builds it's nest for shelter from what it can find, no need to be aesthetic or as big as it can get. It's content to be warm and dry and away from danger. We could learn a thing or two from the little mouse.
Centrepoint, one of this year's chosen charities strives to deliver just that to thousands of homeless teenagers in the UK. Safety, Warmth, Shelter.
