Delighted to announce that Thought Press Project has re-launched for 2025, with the theme of ‘Sound & Vision’! Inspired by the classic song by David Bowie.
The project runs with up to 100 UK printmakers kindly donating their artwork to raise funds for The Children's Book Project and Edible Rotherhithe.
Alongside @ediblerotherhithe, our second charity this year is @childrensbookproject. This is a great charity that seeks to tackle book poverty, and give every child the opportunity to own their own book.
Book ownership has been directly linked with improved mental health amongst children and a greater propensity to read for pleasure, whilst reading fluency itself has a significant impact on children’s successful progression through education.

Two-plate linocut print on A5 buff coloured paper by Gavin Hillage @gavinhillage This print speaks for itself and was inspired by Gavin's very own childhood imaginary friends, swipe to the next image to read about it in the artist's own words. The playful juxtaposition of the real and the imaginary lends this work a surreal touch and the brick wall background echoes Banksy. Wonderful work!
