"Morning Sun" This image was inspired by taking a chilly morning swim on the south coast. The rising sun made the sea glitter and dance, making a perfect back drop for a moment of tranquility.
But the peace was disturbed by a gull rudely squawking "good morning", like the wake up call from a cockerel.
A burst of energy and purpose.
A four colour screen- print made with stencils and adapted from the blocks of a linocut. The original linocut was an edition of only 8 prints. So this print has been re-made particularly for the Thought Press Project but now the image is flipped and has different colours, making it similar , but not the same.
