Little King
Limited edition colour print on 50% cotton A5 paper, by Russ Parkinson @thepensivemaker
As a small child, the artist had delusions of grandeur, so much so that his mother made him a cape out of an old blanket, in which he used to parade around whilst demanding servitude from his subjects! Alas, he never had a crown but this is an opportunity to finally make up for that - this little linoprint king finally gets his crown! Featured in the national printmaking magazine 'Printmaking Today' as part of an article on the Thought Press Project, Spring 2021.
