We are 100 UK printmakers creating prints on the theme of "Bring me Sunshine" inspired by the Morecambe & Wise song, to be sold in aid of two charities - Place 2 Be and Edible Rotherhithe. Place 2 Be helps school children improve their mental health and wellbeing across the UK. Limited edition signed original monochrome print in a unique blend of Caligo Safewash on A4 printmakers Kent paper (light cream 190gsm) by Shane Surgey @shanesurgeyart
The print is titled ‘Gardening Birds’ and it is inspired by the accidental planting of a sunflower seed by the birds in the artist's garden. The inks used are blended by the artist to give the linocut a rich dark blue hue.
