Don't Fall In
Open edition lino print in black ink on A5 recycled card stock by Anna Place @aplaceprints
This print is inspired by family holidays in the Lake District, when the artist was a child, and the many hours spent down by the Derwent Water, plodging and feeding the ducks. The artist says, 'when I look at my print I can hear my Mam's pleas of "don't fall in!" so clearly. (I always fell in and often on purpose.)' You can read more about the story behind this print if you have a look through the images here. A wonderfully nostalgic image with an almost photographic quality, the texture and background of the recycled stock brings the atmosphere of "plodging in the Lakes."
