Delighted to announce that Thought Press Project has re-launched for 2025, with the theme of ‘Sound & Vision’! Inspired by the classic song by David Bowie.
The project runs with up to 100 UK printmakers kindly donating their artwork to raise funds for The Children's Book Project and Edible Rotherhithe.

Alongside @ediblerotherhithe, our second charity this year is @childrensbookproject. This is a great charity that seeks to tackle book poverty, and give every child the opportunity to own their own book.
Book ownership has been directly linked with improved mental health amongst children and a greater propensity to read for pleasure, whilst reading fluency itself has a significant impact on children’s successful progression through education.

"Celebration" by @emilyhancockprints

The theme "Sound and Vision" made me think of the thing's that we enjoy looking at and listening to.

As nature has a beautiful way of connecting us, it felt natural that hills, birds and the sea are featured.

And what better way of celebrating life than the powerful sound of a trumpet!

"Celebration" is printed as an open edition in Burnt Umber Cranfield Colours oil based printing ink, on Japanese Ho-Sho paper.
