Delighted to announce that Thought Press Project has re-launched for 2025, with the theme of ‘Sound & Vision’! Inspired by the classic song by David Bowie.
The project runs with up to 100 UK printmakers kindly donating their artwork to raise funds for The Children's Book Project and Edible Rotherhithe.
Alongside @ediblerotherhithe, our second charity this year is @childrensbookproject. This is a great charity that seeks to tackle book poverty, and give every child the opportunity to own their own book.
Book ownership has been directly linked with improved mental health amongst children and a greater propensity to read for pleasure, whilst reading fluency itself has a significant impact on children’s successful progression through education.

"Call of the Sun"
This two layer lino print is inspired by Matisse's "Dance" and features fluid blue fiqures dancing round the bright orange sun.
I hope the print brings that fimilar feeling of joy and warmth that you feel in long summer evenings.
Hand carved and printed using Cranfield Caligo safe wash oul based ink, printed on A4 190gsm Kent printmaking paper.
